the hope
I hope to build a game/tool/site that makes feminist discourse
palatable to young women. My aim is to help women question their own
conceptions about what it means to be a woman in contemporary North
American society. My goals, in list form, are to:
make women think about themselves
give women the courage to diverge from stereotypes if they so choose
help women have a more critical relationship with media
encourage women to think about themselves outside of the traditional parameters of femininity and female roles in society
make media criticism and analysis fun
